Celtic Rose Stables is a small Thoroughbred breeding farm owned/operated by Amanda Leahy. Our farm is centrally located in Haldimand County, 45 minutes South of Hamilton and approx. 1.5 hours from Woodbine Racetrack.
We are proud members of the CTHS and breed Thoroughbred Racehorses for the Ontario market.
Our Girls
Our broodmares have been hand selected for Ontario Stallions. Our band consists of four mares which allows us to provide exceptional care and attention. Damsires include Old Forester, My Way Only, Leonnatus Anteas and Lemon Drop Kid.
Our Foals
We breed our mares to Ontario stallions, which makes our foals eligible for Ontario Sires Stakes. We welcome 2-4 foals each year and are able to provide individualized care and handling to ensure they get the right start.
